Project Description:

Utica Community Action, Inc. and the Village of Sylvan Beach will utilize funding to conduct improvements to the Village Park in Sylvan Beach. The Village Park revitalization activities will consist of landscaping, repairs to the bandshell roof, tree plantings, playground and walkway enhancements, and installation of signage. The proposed project should be completed within three months. All activities will be completed by the end of summer 2000.

Outline of work is as follows:

• planting of trees and shrubs
• repair of the bandshell roof
• enhancements to the playground area and walkways
• installation of planting pots
• installation of signage
