EANNACE ANNOUNCES BOONVILLE FLU CLINIC Oneida County Executive Ralph J. Eannace Jr. announced today that the Oneida County Health Department will conduct a flu clinic on Friday, December 15, 2000 at the Boonville Methodist Church Senior Nutrition Center. "As promised, we are scheduling flu clinics throughout the County as quick as we receive the vaccine, "Eannace said. "We thank our residents for their continued patience and understanding throughout the shortage and we will continue to set up flu clinics throughout the County as soon as vaccine becomes available." This flu clinic is open to all Oneida County residents on a first come first serve basis. The Boonville Methodist Church Senior Nutrition Center, 105 Ann Street in Boonville, will be open between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. for the flu clinic. There will be a $10 charge for all shots, which can be covered with Medicaid or Medicare benefits with proper identification. Due to the shortage of flu vaccine the Oneida County Health Department has not been able to prepare advance schedule of flu vaccination clinics as in the past. But the Health Department will conduct additional flu clinics throughout the County as it receives additional quantities of vaccine. Details about future clinics will be released as they develop. |
