Oneida County Executive Ralph J. Eannace, Jr. and Oneida County Department of Social Services Commissioner Theodore C. Mohr today announced that the Oneida County Department of Social Services has submitted to the New York State Department of Labor the draft Oneida County Welfare To Work Employment Plan for January 1, 2002 – December 31, 2003.

"This plan identifies services and activities designed to help temporary assistance applicants to find employment," Eannace said. "It will be used to expand our efforts as we include more employers in the Welfare To Workfare effort."

Oneida County’s current biennial plan was accepted by the New York State Department of Labor on February 1, 2000.

The plan may be reviewed at the Oneida County Planning Department, 3^rd floor, Union Station, 321 Main Street, Utica from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on regular business days for the next 30 days. Comments can be noted at that location or written comments can be submitted to:
