GRIFFO VISITS CLINTON HIGH SCHOOL ECONOMICS CLASS
County Executive Griffo today was in Clinton to talk to Mr. James Davis’ senior economics class at Clinton High School. Griffo spent two class periods with the seniors discussing the role of the County Executive as well as talking about the issues that are facing the county and what the youth of our area have to say about them. “Government is at its best when we can involve and educate our residents especially the youth. I was impressed at both their knowledge of the issues of this area as well as what they see we can improve on. Many of our younger generation see the concerns and areas for improvement that we in positions of leadership see. I was encouraged with their willingness to discuss the issues and how we can improve” said Griffo. Griffo also visited Holland Patent High School last month in a continuing effort to involve the youth of the county in the government and the political process. |
